Proficiency Testing Provider

In accordance with RMG 103-2010, any testing laboratory is allowed to participate in interlaboratory comparison tests (ICT), regardless of its legal form, form of ownership, status or accreditation system in which it is accredited.

Depending on the purpose of the comparison tests, the Proficiency Testing Provider (PT Provider) provides various sets of samples:

  1. Basic set of samples for interlaboratory comparison tests: tests are carried out by an experienced operator on the testing machine most used for a particular type of test.
  2. Basic set and additional sets of personnel proficiency testing: on one most used testing machine, tests of a basic set of samples are carried out by the most experienced operator, tests of additional sets of samples are carried out by other operators undergoing internal proficiency testing.
  3. Basic set and additional sets for testing equipment and measuring instruments: tests of a basic set of samples on the most used testing machine are carried out by the most experienced operator, tests of additional sets of samples are carried out on the equipment and using instruments that need to be checked.

To participate in interlaboratory comparison tests, you must fill out an application and send it to us. Based on the offer agreement, the ICT Participant is sent documents for payment for participation in the PT Program. After receipt of payment, the ICT Participant will be sent samples for proficiency testing and instructions for conducting tests. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the scheme of the “PT Program”.

Based on the results of the ICT, participants are given::

  •  Certificate of ICT Participant
  •  Report on testing the qualifications of laboratories under the PT Program

At the end of the PT Programs, Participants are asked to fill out a Consent to the processing and use of information.
